Fandom Settings

OCxOC = pairings with original characters only
OCxCC = original character + canon character pairings

Halo

(OCxOC)Being very fond of the Halo series albeit disappointed in the current state of the franchise, it is one of my favorite science fiction fandoms of all time. My knowledge of the lore is pretty good, and I am fine with doing a roleplay that is either set during the Human-Covenant War or the post-war era. If you like combat or a scenario that is more laid-back but still has the occasional fighting sprinkled within, then I’m all game! The characters that I usually play as vary from rank-and-file UNSC grunts, up to Spartans and naval officers. On the Covenant side, I’ve only played as Sangheili.

SCP Foundation

(OCxCC, OCxOC)One of the most narrative-rich fandoms that I've been into, the SCP universe has plenty of things to offer, but the most unique aspect about it is that it does not have a central canon that is mandatory to follow. When it comes to SCP roleplays, I usually like to focus on mundane scenarios exploring the daily lives of Foundation personnel, ranging from the meager janitorial staff up to the experienced Mobile Task Force agents. It’s less about the anomalous objects themselves - rather, it’s about the idea of delving into what goes on outside of containment procedures. Combat scenarios involving armed MTF units are also something that I like to do.As far as character pairings are concerned, I would like to explore working relationships between said personnel, and an SCP pairing with a non-SCP is almost out of my league. There are plenty of possibilities for plots so if you’re an avid SCP reader like I am, do hit me up!

RWBY

(OCxCC, OCxOC)A rather well-known animated series that has a decent amount of media expansion (even though the actual series itself has issues that I will get to at a different time), I really like RWBY due to the potential for worldbuilding and the concept/ideas that it offers. If it were up to me, I would offer to do a RWBY roleplay that is completely OC-driven, seeking to expand upon that world itself in a way that would trump how the actual series executed it. I believe this allows for more creative freedom, although I wouldn’t be opposed to doing canon RWBY too, I'm just very picky.I have a team of all-male OCs, but at the moment it’s only the leader that I have made and used for RWBY roleplays so far. Whenever I have free time, I intend to work on his teammates, but I am still open to whatever ideas you may have for this setting!

Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin

(OCxOC)The only mainstream Japanese anime that I’ve liked to roleplay so far. I have read the manga up to the end so I am basically spoiler-free! It’s okay if you haven’t seen the ending to the series, whether you’re a manga reader or an anime watcher. For this particular fandom, I am also into OC-driven roleplays, where there are no canon characters involved whatsoever, but the core identity of RWBY would still remain. My main character is one of the few members of the Military Police who has integrity and is selfless in serving the public. I can play different types of characters too. There can be interesting avenues for character dynamics here, and I am open to hear whatever you may have in mind.

Star Wars

(OCxOC)Star Wars is a timeless classic, and being the stubborn fanboy that I am, I overwhelmingly prefer Legends over canon. Sure, there are issues regarding consistency and continuity with Legends, but I lean towards it as there are plenty of things that can be looked up and take in from Legends lore, which further adds to my disdain of Disney canon lol.Although I have experience playing as Jedi, Sith, and Grey Jedi, I figured that I could do with a change of pace and playing something else that’s preferably a non-Force wielding character. Lately I’ve been into playing as pilots- starfighter pilots, to be exact, for I think space combat is a highly underrated aspect of Star Wars. For eras, I am into the Galactic Civil War era the most, followed by the Clone Wars. The Old Republic era is something I am not familiar with unfortunately as I’ve never had the opportunity to play the games.

Splatoon

(OCxOC)Even if I haven’t played the games themselves, I am pretty fond of the world itself and the lore (despite how dark it is in actuality, in classic Nintendo fashion lmao), so worldbuilding for this setting is a relaxing thing for me. I can play both Inklings and Octolings, and if you additionally want our characters to be involved with the New Squidbeak Splatoon in one way or another, I am open to ideas. The way I see it, plots for this setting aren’t going to be filled with tension, more like relaxed given what type of game they are.

Pacific Rim

(OCxOC)While I’m not big on mecha stuff in general, Pacific Rim has been appealing to me, and I am confident in saying that the first movie itself was leagues better than the sequel. There’s enough lore to work with for a roleplay setting for sure, and having watched The Black, I would be down to do something that’s set during that timeframe. Our characters could be both piloting a single Jaeger, of which the design is something I am happy to collaborate with you on!

Other Fandoms

ROBLOXI don’t play ROBLOX anymore, but it still holds a soft spot in my heart as I’ve delved into a select few roleplay games, in particular After the Flash and Starship Roleplay. These games have extensive lore that I’ve come to appreciate, and it would be awesome if we could adapt them as settings for our own roleplay. Respectively, these games are post-apocalyptic and sci-fi themed, so they can lend very well to being original settings of their own that we can work with.Spy x FamilyCurrently watching season 1, and I will say that I love it to bits! If anything, we could explore the daily lives of the Forger family if a roleplay is to be done in this setting.Project ZomboidIt's a fun zombie survival game, and I'm certainly down to do a roleplay using the world as a setting. The gist of it is that it's basically set in Kentucky, USA in 1993, so the level of technology at the time is an interesting point to incorporate in a roleplay.Half-LifeI've done some Half-Life roleplays before but it's unfortunately something that isn't too high on my list of favorite fandoms. Still, I'm a fan of the games and the setting itself isn't hard to bounce off of as far as worldbuilding is concerned.Call of DutyMore fond of the older games than the newer ones, also not a top fandom on my list, but the way I see it, there can be some good action-packed plots that can be crafted out of this.

If there are any fandoms that you think that I might be into as well, do ask! I'm probably into more than what's listed on this page since it's not strictly set in stone.
